Terms of Performance and Purchase

This work “Incredible Riches” (completed 2022) by Michael Anderson is protected by copyright law, when performing, the following restrictions must be taken into consideration. By purchasing this play, no matter the licensing type, you agree to the following terms.

This play, in any capacity, is not to be performed without purchase or prior agreement, purchasing of the rights to the play via purchase avenues (Gumroad, E-mail, etc.) are ways in which to both: agree to these terms, and have the rights to the script. 

The script is to remain in-tact when performing. The script is not to be altered significantly, and the stage performance should remain. This includes addition of characters beyond the ensemble (non-speaking), the addition of scenes, the changing of character names,  the repeated addition of lines. Creative liberty is important within theater, but the changing of the source-material on a moderate or above level is to be rejected.

The writing credit is to go to Michael Anderson and nobody else, this includes the addition of a writing credit in the performance program, as well as the URL (incredibleriches.net) in a minor capacity within promotional material. Crediting the writing to any other individual will be considered a violation of these terms and therefore a violation of copyright law.

The title of this work (Incredible Riches) is not to be altered in any piece of material. This includes the program and promotional material.

The italic stage directions are, for the most part, suggestions. The change based on the chosen set direction. They will change based on the set direction created on a production-by-production basis. But the general action of the directions should remain relatively in-tact.
